Terms of Service
These terms apply when you download or use Milens. They add to Apple's Standard License Agreement, which governs your licence to the app. Milens is developed and published by Mucahit Sahin, an individual developer based in Bursa, Türkiye.
1. Who can use Milens
You must be at least 13 years old to use Milens. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. What Milens is, and what it is not
Milens is a personal tool for following your body's progress through photos, weigh-ins and goals. Shoulder, waist and hip readings, centimetres and body fat figures are estimates made from your photos and the details you enter. They are meant for comparing you with yourself over time.
Milens is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor before you start a diet or aim for a large change in weight, and do not rely on Milens for decisions about your health.
3. Your content
Your photos, measurements and notes are stored only on your iPhone. You own them and we claim no rights over them. Because we have no copy, we cannot recover them: if you delete the app or lose your phone without a backup, they are gone. Back up your iPhone regularly.
When you allow it, Milens scans your camera roll and brings in every photo with a body in it, including photos of other people. You are responsible for deleting photos that are not yours to keep, and for only adding photos of other people when you have the right to.
4. Subscription
Milens is used with a paid subscription, weekly or annual. The price is shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel at any time in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions.
Purchases are made through Apple, and refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Any rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, including a right of withdrawal, are not affected by these terms.
5. Acceptable use
Use Milens only for your own lawful, personal purposes. Do not reverse engineer or redistribute the app, and do not use it to store or process content that violates the law or the rights of others.
6. Updates
We provide updates, including security updates, while your subscription runs. We may change, add or remove features to improve Milens, as long as the app keeps doing what you subscribed to.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, such as mandatory consumer protection or product liability law.
Otherwise, where we are slightly negligent, we are liable only for breach of an obligation that is essential to the app working as agreed, and only for the damage typical for and foreseeable in such a case. Because your content is stored only on your device, we are not liable for its loss to the extent that a regular backup of your iPhone would have prevented it.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. Changes that affect you significantly will be announced in the app before they apply.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
